Week of February 4th - 7th
Since this week was a 4 day week we didn't get to do fitness on Friday. This week we were in the weight room. On Monday, I ended up playing floor hockey in the small gym where I took the ownership of setting up the game, taking out all the equipment, and making teams. Since we have fitness on Tuesday's, we were acquired to do the circuit which I found really effective for my body. I ran for about 40 minutes straight. On Wednesday and Thursday, we were in the weight room where we focused on working more muscles in one exercise. However on Thursday, our muscle of the day was our Quadriceps. We had to do at least 3 exercises where our Quadriceps were involved. Since I go to the YMCA 4 days a week I basically know how each machine works in the weight room. This describes what I did throughout the week.

My first fitness testing of the semester
This day I was admired to do my first fitness testing in this course as it was recommenced by the PE staff. At first, I started of with doing a beep test which helped my cardiovascular endurance. However, my score was reasonably acceptable which was a 9.0. I achieved this score because of the particular things I do outside of school. In order to improve this, I would try my best in all the things that I do at school related to PE and outside of school. Afterwards, I went and I checked my speed/agility which was done by a T-Test. In fact, my result was 11:12 seconds which I will try my best to improve throughout the semester. Later on, I was able to test my flexibility by certainly doing the sit and reach. As a result my level was at 1 which I can progress on by doing particular activities that are dealt with flexibility. Moreover, I did the activities for my muscular strength/endurance. I had not expected of the scores I achieved in these but they were great. Lastly, I went ahead and tested myself on the balance boards and while I was there I tested my power which had accelerated from last year. So this post explains the things I did on this day, how would I improve on these, and my related scores. I will try to make progress in all of these areas as the semester moves on.
